Mit dem Color Scheme Designer können Sie ganz einfach und schnell online ein Farbschema erstellen. Sie müssen dazu nur mittels Farbwahlkreis die Grundfarbe auswählen. Sie haben dabei 2 Möglichkeiten, die Hauptfarbe einzustellen:
a) Mit der Maus einfach irgendeine Farbe einstellen
b) Farbnummer (Hex-Zahl) eintippen

Microsofts Aufstieg zur Nummer 1 im Softwaregeschäft begann 1980: Der Hardware-Riese IBM benötigte ein Betriebssystem – Bill Gates und Kollegen kauften die Software eines anderen Anbieters und passten sie für den Auftraggeber an. Eine grafische Benutzeroberfläche zur Vereinfachung der Navigation hatte dieses System namens MS-DOS allerdings noch nicht, dies gab es zunächst nur bei Apple, Atari oder dem Commodore Amiga.
Microsoft legte 1985 mit Windows 1.0 nach. Nennenswerten Erfolg erzielte das Unternehmen allerdings erst mit der Version 3.0, die 1990 veröffentlicht wurde. Mit Nachfolgern wie Windows 95 (1995) und XP (2001) sowie diversen Zwischenversionen baute das Unternehmen Schritt für Schritt ein Quasi-Monopol auf.
